PhytoTech的故事
在植物的研究領域中，荷蘭的Duchefa已經雄踞市場多年。不過，有一個新興品牌在這二十幾年內緩緩上升，那就是美國最大的植物培養基供應商 一 Phytotechnology Laboratories (簡稱PhytoTech)。
PhytoTech lab的創辦人Dr. Torres，原本任職於Sigma的植物部門，有感於Sigma的價格太高，而獨立出來創辦了PhytoTech lab，不只維持原來高品質的訴質，價格更只有大廠的一半到2/3。PhytoTech其實是全世界最早通過ISO 9001：2000品質體系認證的組培試劑生產商，超過30年的植物組培產品開發經驗，至今已是世界上最頂級的植物研究領域試劑與原料供應商。
塞魯士的故事
塞魯士為國內極少數兼具研發、生產和代理的生技公司。塞魯士原為生工生技(成立於1996年)的試劑部門，後來獨立出來也是為提供給研發人員價錢更合理、品質更高的產品。
由於理念接近，塞魯士在這幾年內開始代理PhytoTech，另外還佐以塞魯士自有品牌的產品，希望為台灣的植物生技研發盡一份心力。
